I’ve been thinking about this case a lot lately. One detail I keep circling back to is Matic's decision to head to Carl's Jr. after parting with his friends. I've read a few discussions about whether the restaurant's staff remembered seeing him that day, but I haven’t seen anything conclusive. It just seems odd that an active elderly man with memory lapses would choose a busy place like that if he was feeling strange or unloved—it doesn’t quite add up for me. Could it have been a routine stop, or were there other reasons for him to go there? Maybe he was meeting someone? I wonder if the police looked into any surveillance or witness statements from that day at Carl’s Jr. It might be a stretch, but it feels like there could be more to this particular part of the timeline. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Has anyone else looked into the possibility that Radivoje Matic might have wandered off due to a cognitive issue? Given his age and those reported memory lapses, could he have become disoriented after leaving Carl’s Jr.?
