I was doing some digging into Daniel H. Miranda's case and came across something interesting. It seems that the rental car he was last seen driving, a maroon 1991 Mazda 323, was never found. It's really curious because you would think that a car would be harder to disappear than a person. Especially considering the fact that it was a rental, you’d assume it would have tracking records or something that could lead to more clues. Does anyone here know if there were any surveillance cameras in place along the route between Colorado Springs and Denver back in 1991? I know technology was different back then, but it might be something worth looking into if it hasn't already been considered. It’s odd not even the car turned up.
I’ve been following the Daniel H. Miranda case for a while now, and something that always makes me think is the maroon 1991 Mazda 323 he was driving when he disappeared. With it being a rental, I wonder if there's any chance it played a bigger role. Did anyone else find it odd that there hasn't been any mention of whether the car was ever located or returned? You’d think a rental company would have reported something if it wasn’t returned, especially with a missing person involved. Maybe someone out there has more info on where the car last showed up or if it was found abandoned anywhere in between Colorado Springs and Denver. Could there have been a connection between Miranda's disappearance and the route he planned to take? Any insight is appreciated!
Has anyone else looked into the unusual circumstances surrounding the maroon 1991 Mazda 323? It seems odd to me that Daniel's friend rented a car specifically for him. Did they mention why the friend rented it, or have there been any reports on whether the car was ever found? I wonder if checking rental records or tracing the car might have provided some clues, especially since it could have been returned or spotted somewhere else. Has anyone seen any updates about the car itself over the years?
