I’ve been digging into the Nicholas Barclay case, and one thing I can't shake off is how Frédéric Bourdin managed to impersonate him and convince the family. I mean, this guy was clearly older and had different eye color, right? It’s baffling how desperate emotions can overshadow obvious red flags. It makes me wonder about the state of mind the family were in during that time. Were they so consumed by hope and grief that they ignored their own instincts? This case is just wild—from the disappearance to the imposter scenario. Still so many questions. What do you guys think? Could the family have honestly believed his story, or might there have been something else going on?
