In the early hours of September 2, 2023, a joyous gathering on Essex Street in Lynn, Massachusetts, turned into a scene of tragedy. Jandriel Heredia, a 21-year-old male from Revere, was among the attendees at a party celebrating a friend's departure for college. At approximately 2:20 a.m., the celebration was shattered by a drive-by shooting that sprayed gunfire into the crowd.
