Hey everyone, I've been following the Samuel Baker case for a while now, and something that really sticks out to me is the lack of identifiable leads despite the proximity of the crime scene to what would have been a pretty busy area. E. 15th Avenue—it just seems like someone might have noticed something or heard something on that night. It’s baffling how, after all these years, we still don’t have any solid clues pointing to what actually happened. I wonder if it had something to do with the time he was attacked, perhaps late enough that not many people were around? Or, maybe people were too afraid to come forward back then. I just hope that with renewed attention on old cases, someone who knows anything will find the courage to speak up. My heart goes out to the Baker family. It must be incredibly difficult not to have closure after all this time. If anyone here has thoughts about the area during that period or anything else, maybe we can brainstorm ways to help generate new tips or keep the discussion alive. Stay safe, everyone.

Hello everyone, I can't stop thinking about the role the community could play in Samuel Baker's case. It's been over 40 years, and it's disheartening to see it still unsolved. I was wondering if anyone on here has any stories or memories about East 15th Avenue back in the late '70s. Sometimes, even small details about the neighborhood can spark new insights or jog someone's memory. I've often seen that when cases seem to hit a standstill, the smallest, seemingly insignificant memory or piece of information can be the missing link needed to make a breakthrough. I know it may be a long shot after all these years, but maybe someone out there remembers something about that night or the time leading up to it. It could be people who lived nearby, delivered mail, or simply passed by regularly. Let’s keep Samuel and his family in our thoughts and share anything we might have overlooked in the past. Together, we might be able to support law enforcement in bringing this case to a close. Stay safe, everyone.
