Has anyone else been following the strange and convoluted details surrounding the Thompson family disappearance? One aspect that always puzzled me involves Kenneth White trying to sell their house. I mean, that’s a pretty bold move if he wanted us to believe Everett Sr. and his family were just off on a vacation. Plus, forging Lydia's signature adds another layer of guilt, in my opinion.
I'm curious what everyone thinks White’s endgame was, especially if he believed he could get away with this? Considering his past, I wonder if there’s more to his involvement before the events of that frantic call. It's frustrating how he took secrets to his grave. Anyone have any thoughts about this or perhaps similar cases where the potential suspect makes such audacious moves?
Hey everyone, I found something intriguing while researching the Thompson family's disappearance that I don't think anyone has brought up yet. I was reading through the court documents and came across a mention that around the time of their disappearance, the Thompsons' neighbor reported hearing what sounded like an argument and then something crashing late at night. They didn't think much of it until they heard about Kenneth White's arrest later on.
Now, I know this might not be groundbreaking, but maybe it's worth considering that whatever went down that night escalated quickly, especially knowing White's history and behavior. I'm puzzled why more emphasis wasn't placed on this neighbor's account during the investigation. Has anyone else come across additional witness statements or leads from that area that could add more context to this? Could be total noise, but curious what you all think.
