Just listened to a podcast episode covering the Thompson family case, and something struck me as odd. Has anyone else ever wondered why Kenneth White felt so secure forging Lydia's signature and selling the house? I mean, was he already planning on going on the run or something? It's strange that he'd risk drawing even more attention to himself. Plus, can't get over the fact that there was bloodstained clothing found, but no follow-up on potential evidence since then. Anyone knows if they've re-examined the case with modern tech or DNA testing? This case really haunts me. Thoughts?

Has anyone else really dug into the financial angle of the Thompson case? We know Kenneth White forged Lydia's signature to sell the family home. But what I keep wondering is: why was he in such a rush to pull off a sale right after they vanished? It's strange to me that selling the house seemed like his top priority. Could it have been to cover up something more sinister, or was he just after a quick cash grab? Also, did he have any shady contacts or debts that might have pressured him into desperate measures? If we could figure out why he was so focused on the sale, maybe it would shed some light on his motivations. It's such a puzzling piece of this tragic mystery.
