I’ve been digging into Washington Smith’s case, and it’s truly perplexing how little information is available despite it being so many years since his untimely death. What stands out to me is the location—1482 Clifton, Columbus. Does anyone here know if this area was particularly known for any illegal activity back in the 80s, or has anyone heard if Washington had any disputes with anyone around that time? It just seems odd that for such a violent crime, there seems to be no trail at all. Given the fact this was a shocking event in such a close-knit community, you'd think someone might remember something no matter how small it seems. My thoughts are with his family and friends who have been left in the dark for all these years. I believe, with renewed interest from today’s community and the advances in technology, there might still be hope to solve this case. Has anyone else come across any similar cases that were resolved years later that could shed some light on what more can be done?
