On September 6, 1980, Washington Smith, a 71-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was tragically killed in what remains an unsolved homicide. The incident took place at 1482 Clifton, in Franklin County, Columbus. Smith was found with fatal shotgun wounds that led to his death.
