I’ve been following Richard Hayes' case for some time, and one detail that I keep coming back to is the timing of the sale of his home. It’s so strange to think that someone could have been observing the property during this transition period, potentially taking advantage of the change in occupancy. It makes me wonder if the public announcement of the sale somehow reached the wrong ears, giving someone a twisted opportunity they decided to exploit. My heart truly goes out to Richard’s family and friends. The fact that there haven’t been any solid leads or suspects after all this time must make it so hard to find any kind of peace. Anyone else think that the house sale might be more than just a coincidental detail?
Hey everyone,
I've been following the Richard Hayes case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the timeframe between when the house was sold and when Mr. Hayes was found. It's so unsettling to think that someone could have targeted the house during this transition period. Was it simply a crime of opportunity because the place was changing hands, or did someone know Hayes was going to be vulnerable at that moment?
It's tragic to think about the new owners walking into such a horrifying scene. My heart goes out to them and everyone who knew Richard. It’s frustrating that this mystery has lingered for decades without resolution. I hope the BCI's efforts bring some new information to light—Richard and his loved ones deserve answers.
Hoping for justice,
