I've always found the circumstances surrounding Leonard Dirickson’s disappearance so puzzling. What's been bugging me is that supposed encounter reported in the bar in Amarillo. Why couldn't authorities track down the person who made that call? I know it's been over two decades, but have there been any updates about who this mysterious caller could be? Amarillo isn't tiny, but someone must've seen something or remembers who he was. Also, don't you think it's odd there hasn't been more attention given to tracking sightings in those areas? From Elk City to Amarillo might not be the busiest route, but it's baffling to think no one spotted or remembered anything unusual back then. What do you all think? Is it possible this caller was just some prankster, or maybe there's more to the story that we just aren’t seeing?
Anyone else intrigued by the supposed sighting at the Amarillo bar? I mean, it's one thing to have a general sighting, but this caller went out of their way to alert the authorities, which makes me think there was something genuinely noteworthy about the interaction. Could have just been someone seeing a resemblance, but to go as far as calling it in adds a layer of credibility, at least in my opinion. Sadly, both the caller and "Dirickson" vanish before authorities get there—as if this case needed more mystery. I can't help but wonder if there was more to the story that wasn't shared with the public. Did the caller know Dirickson personally or was it just a gut feeling based on a conversation? With so many unanswered questions, it feels like a few key pieces are still missing from this puzzle. Thoughts?
