Has anyone here looked into the weather conditions on the day Larry Bernard Kelly disappeared? It might seem like a minor detail, but sometimes bad weather can cause unexpected detours or complications. I did a little digging and found that it was pretty hot that day in Spring Lake, NC, with temps hitting the high 80s. There's no mention of rain, so it doesn't seem like that would have affected him heading to the store. But I wonder if the heat could've played a role somehow, like dehydration or even making someone less aware. I know it may not be a big piece of the puzzle, but in these cases, every detail helps to make more sense of things. What does everyone else think?

Hey all, I was reading about the Larry Bernard Kelly case from '98, and something caught my eye—his jewelry. He was wearing a gold snake chain and baby hoop earrings when he vanished. It's odd because, in many cases I've followed, personal items like that often show up if the person was a victim of foul play. Why would someone take them and not leave them behind? Has anyone heard of these items being recovered anywhere or pawned? Just seems like an overlooked angle that could yield some clues. Thoughts?
