Hey everyone, I've recently been reading up on the unsolved murder of Louis Whitesell in Cincinnati from back in 1990, and I can't help but think about the location where he was found. The fact that he was discovered in a phone booth near Lunken Airport is really sticking with me. It's such a public place, which makes me wonder if someone intended for him to be found quickly. Does anyone know if that area was considered high-traffic back then or if it was more isolated at certain times of the day? Also, I've been thinking about the significance of the location near an airport. Could it have any connection to the killer possibly being transient or trying to flee the area quickly? Maybe they thought the airport vicinity might mask their presence somehow. I know there's a lot we don't know, but it seems like an uncommon spot for such a personal crime. My heart goes out to Louis's family—it's unimaginable to have no answers after all these years. I hope that someone out there will remember something useful and finally come forward. Every small piece of information could be crucial to bringing closure to those who loved him. Would love to hear your thoughts or any info you might have about the area back then. Stay safe out there.
