Has anyone looked into Janice's connections back in Sacramento before she moved to Ottawa? It's not uncommon for people with lifestyles like hers to keep in touch with old friends or rely on support networks from their pasts. Maybe there's something that got missed in her Sacramento days that could shed light on her disappearance. I wonder if she kept any contact with people from her time there, and if so, if they've ever been interviewed or if there's anyone left who knew her years ago and might have insight into her state of mind around the time she disappeared. It's a long shot, I know, but sometimes these old ties can point to a direction that hasn’t been explored yet.
Has anyone else been looking into the strange financial aspects of Janice Kay Matney's disappearance? I find it really odd that she never picked up her last Social Security benefit check. It's almost as if she disappeared without a trace or any plan. You'd think if someone wanted to leave their life behind, they'd at least take any available cash. It's like whatever happened was sudden and left no room for her to take care of any unfinished business. Plus, the fact that there was no activity on her accounts is even more baffling.
