It's been perplexing to me how Daniel's car ended up on a runaway truck ramp. It makes you wonder if he was trying to evade someone or if it was left there by someone else. The fact that the license plates were removed is really suspicious. I keep thinking that could mean someone was trying to delay identification of the car, but for what reason? Given he had no plans or reason to be near the West Virginia/Maryland border, it feels like there's a missing piece here about why or how he ended up so far from home. The whole scenario just screams cover-up or foul play, but then again, without more evidence, it's tough to draw conclusions. Anyone else have thoughts on what the significance of that location might be?
Has anyone looked into the significance of the Spicertown area of Akron where Daniel was last seen after leaving his home? It seems like an odd place for him to stop if he wasn't meeting someone or had some specific reason to be there. I've read that Spicertown has a mix of residential and commercial properties. Could there have been someone he knew there, maybe connected to the University of Akron? His brother last saw him around 2:30 p.m., which makes me wonder if Daniel had an appointment or meeting. No mention of specific connections to the area makes me think it's an important, but overlooked, part of the timeline. Thoughts on this? Has anyone heard if the police tried to gather any CCTV footage or talk to local businesses from back then? It seems like it could be a critical piece of the puzzle in trying to trace his movements before his car ended up near the state border.
