I've been thinking about the timeline in Marilyn Brinson's case, and something doesn't quite add up. If John Brinson claimed she went to bed as usual, then how did things escalate so quickly in just one night? The blood found in the parking lot near their home suggests that the altercation might have started there or at the very least, something happened before she even got into her car. Was there any known tension between Marilyn and John leading up to that night? And why did it take the co-workers calling for him to realize she was missing? Seems odd for a spouse to have such little concern in a situation like this, don't you think? I'm not trying to armchair-detective too hard, but the level of apathy from John just doesn't sit right with me. What are your thoughts?

Has anyone else found John Brinson's trial proceedings a bit odd? I've been diving into the case details surrounding Marilyn Brinson's disappearance, and something about the lack of physical evidence other than the blood really stands out to me. I understand that blood evidence is significant, but I can't help but wonder if there's more we're missing here. The fact that Marilyn's body was never found must have made it a challenging case for the prosecution. Does anyone know if there were any other forensic clues or anything more decisive presented during the trial? I'm just trying to wrap my head around how they reached a conviction without a body. Any insights or theories?

Has anyone looked into the possibility of other unexplained incidents in the area around the same time Marilyn went missing? I find it odd that the car was abandoned so blatantly on 24th Street near Topping Avenue. It's an unusual location if the aim was to keep a low profile, right? I wonder if there were other reports of suspicious activities or vehicles spotted there. Maybe someone saw something that didn't seem important back then but could provide a fresh lead now. Thoughts?
