Has anyone got any information on whether law enforcement made any public statements about Marland Dewayne Jones after the initial report? It's strange how there seemed to be no major leads despite the suspicious circumstances. Given his situation, I'm curious if they ever considered if his outstanding warrants might've led someone to target him. Sometimes, other angles of a person's life can bring about unexpected motives. Hoping for any clues or new insights folks might have come across over the years.
