Has anyone else considered the possibility that "Don" might not actually exist or might be using an alias? It seems like such a strange detail that David was with this friend named "Don" and yet there's been hardly any trace of him since. Considering how important this character might be in the case, wouldn't there be some sort of lead or sighting, especially with such a distinctive car? It makes me wonder if "Don" was someone David's mother or the authorities couldn't verify. It just feels like if we could pin down who "Don" really is, it might unravel more of the mystery around David’s disappearance. Thoughts?

Hey everyone, I found something intriguing while looking into David Sam Bartlett Jr.'s case. I came across an old forum where someone mentioned hearing about a similar car, a green or gray Pontiac Grand Am, being seen parked at a gas station in Marion around the time David vanished. There are no official reports about this sighting, but it got me thinking. Could it have been the same car that left David’s mom's house? Maybe locals around there remember seeing something? It feels like one of those tiny details that could've gone unnoticed. Anyone familiar with the area or remember any chatter from back then? Every bit helps!

I was going through the details of David's case, and something's been puzzling me—his tattoos. Considering they’re pretty distinctive, especially the cross on his left hand and the skull on his forearm, you'd think someone might have remembered seeing him or hearing something, even after all these years. Tattoos can be quite memorable, and he seemed like someone who wasn't shy about showing them off. Has anybody come across similar cases where distinct tattoos were a crucial factor in locating a missing person? It seems like such a strong lead. With him having several tattoos, it feels like a missed opportunity not having more information surface through local tattoo studios or those who might remember seeing him around right before he disappeared. Would love to hear any thoughts or similar experiences.
