David Sam Bartlett Jr., age 35, was last seen on August 18, 2009, in Swannanoa, North Carolina. He left his mother's home, located on Max Metcalf Road, with a friend named "Don" in a green or gray 1990s Pontiac Grand Am. Bartlett's mother reported him missing ten days later, on August 28, after he failed to appear for a court date in Marion, North Carolina.
