Has anyone else here been following the ongoing searches for any trace of Jacqueline and Vanderlei Szczepanik along the Missouri River? I remember reading that some parts of the river are really challenging to search because of debris and strong currents, but I can't help but wonder if there might still be some hope. I know that the family and community have been waiting a painfully long time for any new developments. It's just baffling how, even with the confessions and sentencing of the perpetrators, the search still hasn't yielded what the family needs for closure. I'm curious if there have been any recent advancements in search technology or techniques that could be applied to this case. It's just so unsettling to think that they might still be out there, waiting to be found. Has anyone heard anything new or have any insights on how cases like this are typically handled when so much time has passed?

I've been diving deep into the details of the Szczepanik case and came across something that really got me thinking. I read somewhere that the family was working on converting an old school into a missionary training center. This makes me wonder about the community they were trying to build there and if anyone from that community has come forward with information. It's puzzling how a family with such a clear, positive mission could become the target of something so horrific. Maybe people in that area have memories or details that they've been hesitant to share, fearing for their own safety? Such an eerie thought that just over a wage dispute, three men could end the lives of a kind family. If anyone local has any thoughts or info, even seemingly minor details, could it be a lead that's never been explored?
