Jacqueline Szczepanik, a 43‑year‑old Brazilian-born missionary living in Omaha, Nebraska, vanished in mid‑December 2009, last seen between **December 17 and 18**, 2009. She was reported missing alongside her husband, Vanderlei, and their 7‑year‑old son, Christopher. The family had moved from Florida to Omaha in 2005 and was living in and renovating a former school building converted into a missionary training center connected to their Assembly of God congregation.
