I’ve been diving deeper into this case, and I keep circling back to that piece of windshield found in Snow's Cut. I’m curious about how thoroughly it was examined. Did they confirm it matched the type of glass from a 1935 Ford Model A coupe, or was it just assumed? I know forensic technology was limited back then, but could there have been a way to trace its origin more precisely, even with the tools available in 1941? Also, is there any record of whether the windshield was just floating there or if it was embedded in the sediment? This might indicate whether it had been there awhile or was more recently introduced. If anyone has more insights or access to old reports, it would be great to know more!
