I can't help but feel for James Gordon's family, especially his young nephew who had to witness such a terrifying and tragic event. It really bothers me that this happened over what appeared to be a carjacking attempt. I mean, how senseless is that? James was just trying to protect his nephew and himself. It's chilling to think this attacker is still out there.
For those who haven't heard, James and his nephew were car enthusiasts. They had just finished restoring a car together, which makes this all the more painful. Just imagine the pride they must have felt getting ready to showcase their hard work at an event. I really hope someone comes forward with information—no detail is too small. His family deserves closure and justice. Please keep them in your thoughts.
I was reading through some local news articles about James Gordon’s case, and the part about him working on cars with his father and nephew really stood out to me. I can only imagine the bond they shared over their love of restoring cars. It's so sad to think about how they were planning to showcase their hard work at a car event, only to have this tragedy occur. The nephew must have looked up to his uncle so much, having not only lost a loved one but also someone who was a big part of his life and interests. I hope that he can find some healing in the memory of the times they spent together, and maybe continue their shared passion as a way of honoring his uncle. It’s just a shame that they never got the chance to see their hard work pay off at the event. Keeping the family in my thoughts and hoping for some kind of breakthrough in identifying the suspect soon.
