Hey everyone, just hopping onto this thread because I've been thinking a lot about the protocols cruise lines have for instances like Vishnu's disappearance. It’s alarming that the family hasn't received any clear information from MSC on whether there might be CCTV footage or any witnesses who saw what happened. You'd think with technology on these ships, there would be more clarity. I’m wondering if it’s common for cruise lines to withhold information like this, maybe from a legal standpoint? It's hard not to feel that more transparency could provide some comfort or at least clarity for his family in such a terrible situation. My heart goes out to them given everything they’ve already been through.
I'm really curious if anyone else has heard about the CCTV footage in Vishnuvardhan Cheelam's case. It really bothers me that the cruise line hasn't released any details about this. With all the technology onboard these ships, you'd think they'd at least have some footage that could shed light on what actually happened. It seems like there might be more to this story. Cruise lines have a responsibility to ensure the safety and accountability of their crew and passengers, and withholding information feels wrong. I wonder if there's any legal action that could be taken to compel MSC to release more details to his family. It's the least they deserve.
Has anyone else been tracking the case of Vishnuvardhan Cheelam? It's so frustrating how little information is out there, especially from MSC Cruises. I can't help but wonder if there's any more to this story that we're not hearing. The fact that his family hasn't received any of his personal belongings or information about what really happened is really unsettling. Also, why hasn't the cruise line released any CCTV footage? It seems like there's always cameras everywhere on these ships. My heart goes out to his family, especially knowing he was so excited to get back home and be with them soon. It just doesn’t add up, and it makes me think of other cases where transparency has been an issue. Does anyone have insights into how common it is for cruise lines to withhold info like this?
