Vishnuvardhan Cheelam, a 30-year-old crew member aboard the MSC Seascape, was last seen on November 14, 2023, while the ship was en route from Miami on a Caribbean cruise. Reports indicate that he went overboard near Puerto Rico, prompting a search effort by the United States Coast Guard, which deployed vessels and a helicopter in an attempt to locate him.
