Has anyone looked into the gold doubloon Richard Ruest wore around his neck? I've always found it interesting that, despite all the years that have passed, there hasn't been any talk of this potentially valuable piece reappearing somewhere. You’d think if it ended up in the wrong hands, it might have been sold or pawned, maybe even resurfaced in Miami or elsewhere. I wonder if any leads were ever pursued regarding jewelry shops or pawn shops around the time he vanished. Could this piece of jewelry hold some hidden significance, maybe even a clue? Just a thought, but I think it's an angle worth considering.
