Richard Florian Ruest, aged 45, was last seen on October 11, 1979, in Miami, Florida. He had checked into the Sky Way Hotel, but after failing to check out, the hotel's cleaning service gathered his belongings, except for his wallet and identification, which he appeared to have taken with him. Ruest, known for wearing a Spanish gold doubloon around his neck, left no trace after that, and his case has been classified as an endangered missing person.
