John Vincent Faix, a 31-year-old Pan American Airlines pilot, went missing on March 17, 1981, in Miami, Florida. Faix was last seen in the 4000 block of northwest 79th Avenue. At the time, he frequented areas near Miami International Airport, including bars such as Ma Grundy's and Zachery's, which were popular among locals but are now defunct.
