I’ve been thinking about the timeline and how quiet the area probably was at 5 a.m. when the shooting happened outside Mike's Crossroads. It's such a chilling thought—how quickly life can change in an instant, and right when most people are either still asleep or just starting their day. I can’t even begin to imagine what the friends and family of the victim are going through, having to relive this nightmare and try to make sense of such a senseless act. My heart goes out to them; I hope they find some kind of solace or answers soon. What a tragic loss.
Just thinking about the timing of the shooting is unsettling. 5 a.m. is such an odd hour for something like this to happen. It makes me wonder if the killer was lying in wait or if it was a result of some argument that escalated quickly. I deeply sympathize with the victim's friends and family; it must be incredibly hard not knowing exactly what led to this senseless act.
