Has anyone else been struck by the lack of media coverage in Frances Smith's case? With the brutality of her murder and how she was found, I expected it would prompt more attention. It's devastating that a woman's life could be taken so violently, and yet her story doesn't seem to have made the headlines as one would expect. The community has a role in remembering Frances and advocating for justice in her name. The way she has effectively disappeared from media focus only adds more tragedy to this already awful situation. If the media cast a wider net, maybe it could reach someone with info. Anyone else have thoughts on how coverage (or lack of) affects ongoing investigations?
