I find it suspicious that Carol's car was abandoned in a hotel parking lot. Why a hotel? Was it a place she and Weeks used to meet up, or was it just a convenient spot to ditch the car? It makes me wonder if the location holds any significance, like maybe it wasn’t the first time she or the other missing women connected to Weeks were seen there. I also wonder about any surveillance footage or witnesses from the hotel at the time. Unfortunately, in the 80s, CCTV wasn't commonplace, but it still feels like another avenue that might’ve had potential leads. Anyone else think the hotel choice is odd given Weeks' history with these disappearances?
Hey everyone,
I've been going down the rabbit hole with Carol Ann Riley's disappearance. Something that really caught my attention was the hotel parking lot where her car was found. Was it ever confirmed if she actually checked in or got seen around that area before vanishing? I mean, it's a pretty public place, and someone must have noticed something.
Also, I can't help but wonder if anyone looked deeper into the hotel's guest list around the time she went missing. If Weeks had any associates, they might have stayed nearby to help him, right? Has anyone come across any old reports or articles mentioning more details about that?
Would love to hear your thoughts or any new info you've come across. This case has so many layers, and it feels like a critical piece of the puzzle might still be out there, waiting to be uncovered.
Stay curious and safe.
Has anyone else looked into the mining locations associated with Robert Dean Weeks? It's baffling to me that with his known connections to these places, we haven't been able to find any trace of Carol Ann Riley. Mining sites often have vast areas that might not be thoroughly examined. I'm curious if there have been any newer searches conducted with the technology we have today. Also, could there be other unidentified sites linked to him that were missed back in the '80s? It's been years, but there might be a chance that someone out there has new information or memories about those places or who worked there at the time. The connection between the mining sites and the disappearances seems too significant to overlook. What do you all think?
