Carol Ann Riley, a 42-year-old nurse from San Diego, California, was last seen on April 5, 1986. That day, she had a phone conversation with her boss at around 5:30 p.m., but after that, she was never heard from again. Riley had plans to meet her boyfriend, Robert Dean Weeks, for dinner that evening, and she had told friends she intended to break up with him.
