I recently came across the case of Timothy Allen Adkins and found it quite perplexing. One thing that caught my attention is the fact that only his oxygen tank and wetsuit were recovered. It makes me wonder about the conditions of the Gulf on that day. I've read some reports suggesting that currents in that area can be pretty strong and unpredictable. I can't help but think that maybe the current played a significant role in his disappearance. Does anyone know if there were any unusual weather conditions on July 19, 1987, around that area? It might provide some clues or at least a better understanding of what happened. It's such a complicated case with so many unanswered questions.
