Hey everyone, I’ve been doing a deep dive on the Isabel Rizzo case, and I found something that caught my interest that hasn't been discussed much. Isabel's car was discovered burned near the entrance to I-95 in the Bronx. I can't help but wonder if there's something about that location that might give us more insight. It seems like a pretty specific place to leave a car burning, right? Was it just to destroy evidence, or could it have been left there for another reason?
Considering how busy and populated that area is, it's surprising that there weren’t any witnesses who came forward or security cameras that recorded anything useful. I've seen other cases where surveillance footage from nearby businesses helped provide new leads.
Does anyone here know if there were any shops, gas stations, or toll booths nearby where cameras might’ve been? Or maybe someone in the area back then remember seeing something odd that night? I'm curious if more could’ve been done to look into this angle. Thoughts?
Does anyone else find the timing of Frank's story a bit strange? He conveniently mentions getting home at 2:30 a.m. when Isabel went missing. It's just so odd, especially considering all her stuff was still at the house. Wouldn't she need her ID or money if she were leaving voluntarily? And then there's her car being found burned. That seems like an attempt to destroy evidence, but clearly, it wasn't enough to pin anything on Frank or anyone else at the time. I know he's been convicted of another murder since then, which makes me wonder even more about his potential involvement here. It's haunting that after decades, there's still no closure for Isabel's family. Thoughts?
Hey everyone,
I've been digging into the Isabel Rizzo case from 1987, and something about her abandoned car doesn't sit right with me. It was found burned near the entrance to I-95 in the Bronx, which feels like a deliberate move to destroy evidence. But what confuses me is why the location was chosen. That spot on I-95 is pretty accessible and maybe too obvious for someone trying to cover their tracks.
Was it meant to divert attention, or did it serve another purpose? Maybe someone local who knew the area well? Isabel's belongings were left behind at home, which is strange enough. Coupled with the burned car, it seems like someone went through great lengths to make her disappear without a trace.
Has anyone dug into the geographical aspect of where her car was found? Or maybe the significance of her not taking any personal items with her? It's like pieces of a puzzle that don't quite fit together. Would love to hear your thoughts!
