Has anyone else been looking into the connection between the Wheeler Street house and Velda's disappearance? It's so eerie that not one, but two women vanished after being seen there. Finding the blood-stained carpet makes it even more chilling. It seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle, yet we're still left with so many unanswered questions. Was there anyone living in that house at the time who knew Velda or Lisa? It just feels like there's a missing link somewhere that could crack this case wide open. Would love to hear any additional thoughts or theories.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following Velda Leyba’s case for a while now, and something that’s been bothering me is the discovery of her car. It's puzzling how her Chrysler LeBaron was found so far from where she was last seen, not to mention the fact that her purse and other personal belongings were left behind. It got me thinking—what could have possibly happened between her leaving her friend's house and her car ending up on the side of I-25 near Isleta Boulevard?
It seems odd how little was found in the vehicle itself, particularly considering it took almost three months to locate. If someone had intentions of doing harm, why leave the car and her possessions in the open like that? I wonder if anyone witnessed the car being abandoned or if any surveillance cameras at nearby businesses could’ve captured some footage from that time. Although it was 1992, and there wasn’t the same level of tech we have now, I've read about cases where simple things like receipts or phone records provided critical leads.
I'm curious if any locals from that area remember anything peculiar around February 1993 when the car was found. I think more eyes from the community could help piece together the timeline. It's just heartbreaking thinking about the possibilities, and my thoughts are with Velda’s family. Hoping for any breakthrough soon.
