Velda Leyba, a 39-year-old woman from Albuquerque, New Mexico, was last seen on December 6, 1992, the night of her daughter’s birthday. Velda had called her daughter earlier in the evening to say she was leaving a friend's house in the South Valley to head over and celebrate the occasion. However, she never arrived and has not been heard from since. At the time of her disappearance, Velda was driving a light blue 1987 Chrysler LeBaron.
