I’ve always been puzzled by the lack of attention to her car in this case. A blue 1990 Honda Civic isn’t something that just disappears without anyone noticing, especially in Brooklyn back then. Were there any traffic cameras or witnesses from that time who spotted it after she dropped off her friend? It seems odd that neither the car nor any trace of Stacy has surfaced. It makes me wonder if something happened soon after she drove away from East 85th Street. Maybe someone took her by surprise? Does anyone know if the authorities ever focused on tracking her vehicle specifically? That could provide some clues about Stacy's movements after 11:30 p.m.
