Has anyone else looked into whether Dennis Scott had any connections in Needles or the surrounding areas? It seems odd that he was last seen heading off into such an isolated part of the desert. I wonder if he was trying to reach somewhere specific or meet someone. I read somewhere that he was carrying a red backpack—does anyone know if there was any significance to that? Could it have held supplies for a longer journey, or might there have been something important inside? Given his health issues, it's puzzling that he would have ventured into such a harsh environment. Would love to hear any thoughts or theories you all might have!

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Dennis Scott disappearance and I've been thinking about how unforgiving the desert can be, especially for someone in poor health. The Ward Valley area is so remote, and it's easy to get disoriented out there. Does anyone know if there were any unusual weather conditions reported around July 27, 1998? Like extreme heat or sudden sandstorms? Those could have posed additional risks for Dennis if he was already not feeling well. Just wondering if anyone's looked into that angle or has any insights. Let’s hope for some new information soon.
