It's been over two decades since Monica and Victor went missing, and I can't help but wonder about the extensive efforts made at the border around that time. I've read that many people have slipped through unnoticed despite border alerts, especially back in the late '90s. It makes me question whether the authorities had enough resources or if the communication between countries was effective enough to catch Francisco. With so many years gone by, I just hope modern technology can do what wasn't possible back then and bring some resolution to this case. Anyone else have insights on how border checks have evolved since then?

Hey all, a detail about Monica Arellano's case has been sticking with me. I recently came across an old article about a bus ticket found near the Arellano home shortly after the incident in 1999. I wonder if anyone else remembers reading about this or if there were ever any follow-ups on it? I’ve always been curious whether investigators confirmed if Francisco actually used public transportation or if it was just a red herring. If it was a genuine lead, did they find any witnesses who might’ve seen him traveling with Monica and Victor? It’s so sad to think how many possible leads might've gone cold over the years. If there are any updates or new theories, I'd love to hear them. Let's keep this case in the spotlight until these kids are found.
