I've been reading about Oscar Beason's case, and one thing that stands out to me is how challenging the investigation must be without clear signs of forced entry. It makes me wonder if Oscar might have known the perpetrator, given his longstanding ties to the Dayton community. It's unsettling to think that someone familiar could betray his trust in such a brutal way. I truly hope that the authorities are able to find more leads and uncover who could do something so terrible to someone who seemed so cherished by those around him. It feels so important for Oscar and his family to get the justice they deserve. If anyone reading this is from that area and remembers anything unusual from around that time, please consider reaching out to the police. Even the smallest detail might be significant.
Hi folks,
I’ve been following the tragic case of Oscar Beason, and honestly, one thing I can't stop thinking about is how he was found at the bottom of the stairs. If there were no signs of forced entry, could it be possible that someone he knew did this? It's troubling to think that someone Oscar may have trusted was involved. Considering his age and the fact that he was active and still driving—he wasn’t just some helpless old man.
Also, it's eerie to think he could have been there for days. It must be so distressing for his family to know he suffered alone. My heart goes out to Lois, having to go through such pain while already dealing with her health issues.
If anyone has more insight on the possibilities or any updates, please share. It’s crucial to keep discussions alive in hopes of finding justice for Mr. Beason. Someone out there knows something.
Keep sharing and caring,

It's been over a decade since Oscar Beason's murder, and the community still feels the void. I grew up near Hochwalt Avenue and have fond memories of seeing Oscar around. He was such a fixture in the neighborhood, and it's beyond comprehensible that anyone would want to harm him.
I know the police have been working hard, but it's so frustrating that there haven't been any arrests. Does anyone know if there’s been any new information released in recent years or if there’s renewed interest in the case? I feel for his family, especially Lois—being in such a tough position with her health while going through this must have been unimaginable. Hoping they get the answers they need one day. If you do have any information, please contact the authorities. This is a crime that really needs closure.
