On February 20, 2013, Oscar Beason, a 95-year-old resident of Dayton, Ohio, was found murdered in his home on Hochwalt Avenue. He was discovered at the bottom of a flight of stairs and had been shot multiple times. The police were called to the scene at approximately 3:30 p.m., and they confirmed that his death was being treated as a homicide.
