I’ve been curious about the unconfirmed sighting of Lem in Medford back in November 1998. Goodwill stores often have a lot of foot traffic, and you'd think someone might have recognized him or at least remembered seeing him. Was there any effort made to reach out to potential witnesses who shopped there regularly or employees at the time? It feels like such a bustling place would have had more witnesses or even security footage. I’m wondering if anyone knows why that particular lead went cold so quickly or if more could’ve been done to glean details from the sighting. It's puzzling how someone can vanish just like that, especially in a busy area.
Has anyone else been doing a deep dive into Lem Addington’s disappearance and come across the detail about the red-handled folding knife he was carrying? I can't stop thinking about it. I wonder if it could have been a unique or memorable item that someone might recall. Being someone who loves vintage items, it's crossed my mind that maybe it was a distinct piece that could stand out to someone who met him that day. If anyone has thoughts or info on this, I'd love to hear it. Could it be a potential clue that hasn't been fully explored? I just feel like every small detail might be a piece of the puzzle we’ve been missing.
