Lemuel "Lem" Ray Addington, aged 52, was last seen on July 10, 1998, in Yreka, California. On the day of his disappearance, Lemuel was approached by Yreka Police officers for trespassing at an Amerigas facility located off Highway 3. After this interaction, he was seen walking toward Deer Creek, heading into a nearby field. Extensive searches conducted by local authorities and search-and-rescue teams yielded no results.
Lemuel, who stood around 6'1" tall and weighed between 130 and 140 pounds, had brown hair and gray eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing blue jeans, a blue-green plaid shirt, and brown boots with green laces. He was also carrying a red-handled folding knife and a worn wallet. There were possible sightings of him later that year, including an unconfirmed one in November 1998 near a Goodwill store in Medford, Oregon. Despite these potential leads, his whereabouts remain unknown, and his case remains unsolved.
