Wesley Rivera-Romero, a 6-year-old boy, was last seen on January 22, 2005, in Oxnard, California. He disappeared alongside his two sisters, Alejandra and Monserrat, in what authorities classified as a family abduction. The siblings were taken by their non-custodial father, Alejandro Rivera Avina, who is believed to have fled with them to Mexico. A warrant for Alejandro's arrest was issued on August 19, 2005, for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
