Was anyone else struck by the strange circumstances surrounding the Jeep Grand Cherokee? It always seemed odd to me that Ronald Talmage was driving a borrowed vehicle when he allegedly picked up Colleen Kay Barrett. If memory serves, the car wasn't reported stolen; someone lent it to him. Could this suggest that Talmage had an accomplice or someone else involved? It just feels like an important piece of the puzzle that's been overlooked. Has anyone come across any information on who the owner of the Jeep might be, or whether they were ever questioned? It seems to me like this piece of information could lead to more answers about what happened to Colleen. Thoughts?
Has anyone looked into the connection between Ronald Talmage and Colleen beyond just being the last person she was seen with? I mean, was there any kind of history or previous interaction between the two before she disappeared? It's so puzzling that he ended up as a person of interest in both Colleen's disappearance and Robert Alurac's tragic death. Did anyone local ever come forward with sightings of them on July 19 or clues about where they might have gone? Also, does anyone know if there were any public appeals back in the day from Colleen’s family or daughter? Just trying to piece together anything that might have been overlooked after all these years.
I'm really curious about the Jeep Grand Cherokee in Colleen's case. It seems like such a pivotal piece of the puzzle. If Ronald Talmage borrowed it, there has to be someone out there who knows more about the vehicle's movements around July 19th, right? Did the owner of the Jeep know Ronald was going to use it for some kind of trip? Maybe he mentioned where he planned to take it or if he was meeting someone else? I feel like tracing back the steps with that Jeep might unveil more details about Colleen's last known whereabouts. It just boggles my mind that a car can go unnoticed in such a connected world. Anyone else think this could be a potential lead that was perhaps overlooked?
