Hey everyone, I've been reading through some of the older threads about Laura Negrete Cerda's disappearance, and something caught my attention regarding her travel plans. It's puzzling that there are no records of her buying a Greyhound ticket or even getting on the bus. It makes me wonder if she made last-minute changes to her plans that weren't communicated to anyone. Could she have met someone in San Rafael who offered her a ride directly to San Jose? It's odd that such a detail would leave no paper trail, especially since she was someone who regularly relied on public transportation. I feel like her not showing up on any bus records could be a crucial lead that might point us towards a missing piece in this puzzle. Would love to hear what others think or if there's more info on this angle that I've missed!
Has anyone else been really puzzled by the lack of any digital trail from Laura Negrete Cerda? It seems strange that in 2010, when smartphones and social media were already pretty widespread, there's nothing about her travels or plans online. Usually, even if someone doesn't have a huge social media presence, there would be at least some kind of record, like text messages or emails confirming bus bookings or letting friends know she was on her way.

Has anyone heard anything more about the sightings of Laura at the San Rafael bus station itself? I remember initially reading that there were a few tips about someone matching her description near there, but nothing ever seemed to materialize from it.
I get that sightings can be unreliable, but given she planned to take a Greyhound to San Jose, it would make sense that she was seen around that area. Were there any security cameras at the bus station that day? It seems odd that no footage was ever mentioned or maybe I just missed an update. If anyone has any info or thoughts, please share.
