This is so amazing! Another case solved! Not in the way we would really want it but there is some semblance of closure. Great job to the dive team that found him. You are doing God's work!
Hi everyone, I've been following the case of Robert Long, and one detail that stands out to me is his PT Cruiser with the "Support the Troops" decal. Has anyone in the area noticed any similar vehicles or decals that might have been abandoned or left somewhere suspiciously? It's been over a decade, but sometimes cars end up in storage or out-of-the-way locations where they might not draw attention. Given the unique nature of the car and decal, my thought is maybe someone might have seen it over the years without realizing the significance. Also, for anyone familiar with that stretch of Route 25A, are there places off the beaten path where a car could go unnoticed for a long time? I know it's a long shot, but any small piece could potentially help, right?
I've always found it strange how Robert Long seemed to vanish without a trace. The parking lot of the liquor store on Route 25A is right in the middle of town, and it's usually bustling with people, even back in 2010. You'd think there'd be a security camera or someone who might have seen something? The off-white PT Cruiser with the "Support the Troops" decal is pretty distinctive. How can a car like that just disappear along with him? Just really hoping some new info surfaces soon. Anyone local who remembers anything, no matter how small, should definitely reach out to the authorities. Every detail counts!
