Robert James Long was 62 years old when he disappeared from Long Island, New York, on December 21, 2010. He lived in Miller Place, and Suffolk County police said he was last seen at his Hilldale Avenue home at about 2:30 p.m. that day. According to early local reporting, his family said he had gone to a local store and never came back.
