Has anyone else been following the case of Joseph Bushling and the numerous discrepancies regarding his disappearance? Something that caught my attention is the distance from his car to where his hat and flip-flops were eventually found. It just seems odd that he would've left his shoes behind if he was aware of the risks of exposure in that area, especially with how harsh the weather can be.
I find it strange how the searches turned up very little despite the attempts. Were there parts of the desert that weren't searched thoroughly? Even years later, with technology improving, there might be pieces of evidence that were missed due to the difficult terrain. His family mentioned having doubts about how the case was handled initially, and with every detail seeming to raise more questions than answers, it makes you wonder if they’re right.
Maybe more emphasis should have been placed on searching areas around where dated cell signals might have been picked up? Are there any other cases of disappearances in that general area that could provide insights? It's mind-boggling thinking about how someone could vanish with seemingly no trace.
Did anyone else come across the info about Joseph Bushling’s flip-flops being found miles from his car? I'm curious about this detail because it seems odd. If he was trying to cover his feet with a t-shirt due to the cold, where’d the flip-flops come into play? Were they left behind in a hurry, or is there another explanation? It just doesn't add up to me. Considering the harsh environment out there, I'd think every piece of clothing would matter. Maybe this is something that got overlooked or may suggest he was disoriented? Anyone have thoughts or insights on this?
