I don’t know about you all, but I can’t stop thinking about Francis Xavier McKenna’s van. If I’m remembering correctly, it was discovered on the northbound side of I-75, right? That still baffles me. He was supposed to head south to Sarasota. Why the opposite direction? Was he just disoriented or lost, or could there have been something else that caused him to turn around? I mean, his things were still in the van untouched. It’s like he just disappeared into thin air. I wonder if anyone checked for any surveillance footage around that time. Did he leave the highway and turn around, or was there a route change earlier on? If anyone has thoughts or theories about what happened during that drive, I’d love to hear them.
Hey everyone, I've been reading up on Francis Xavier McKenna's disappearance, and something really puzzling stood out to me. Did anyone else find it odd that his brother reported him missing almost a month later? I mean, I get that people have their own reasons and may not be in constant contact, but it seems like quite a long time, especially since his van was found abandoned just days after he was last seen. Do you think McKenna's brother might have assumed Francis was just taking his time on the road or staying with friends? Or could there have been some communication issues? I feel like the delay in reporting might have affected the initial investigation efforts. Would love to hear your thoughts!
Anyone else find it strange that Francis McKenna's van was found heading north when he should have been traveling south to Sarasota? I mean, it's like he did a complete U-turn after leaving the motel. The fact that his van was in working condition and all his stuff was just left inside makes the whole thing even more baffling. Could he have gotten turned around while driving, or maybe stopped somewhere in between and something happened? It's just odd that his brother didn't report him missing until almost a month later, too. I wonder if anyone has looked into why he seemed disoriented at the motel—did he have any health issues that might explain that? It's like he just vanished into thin air, and there are still so many unanswered questions.
